- The Ultraman DX Ginga Spark unit is an Ultra Live compatible device. It works with 500 series Ultra Monster and Ultra Hero figures which all have an Ultra Live Sign coded ID badge at the bottom of the foot ("Spark Dolls" collection).
- Just pull the trigger and read the badge with the tip of the unit to make the Ultraman Kaiju or Ultraman Superhero come to life. When the figure is recognized, the unit replicates sounds made by the specific Kaiju monster ("Call Sign Mode" with the arms of the unit in the closed position) or Ultraman superhero ("Transformation Mode" with the arms of the unit in the open position).
- Also works with Ultraman Ginga Warrior of Light series Ultraman figures which also have an Ultra Live Sign coded ID badge at the bottom of the foot.
- Batteries (AAA x 3 - not included) are stored in the handle.
